#i have so many feelings towards this character
#he never got to be a kid
#at 7 years old he was taken and mutated into some horrible creature
#his own father let this happen
#his father paid more attention to his work and the flock kids and never to his son
#all ari wanted was to make his dad proud
#and then he was killed and brought back to life only to have an expiration date
#he died scared and practically alone
#he didn't deserve what happened to him
#and he will always be my favorite
#ari is the true tragic hero of this story imo
